Let’s cut the crap. Most crypto projects are either Ponzi schemes or solutions begging for a problem. But AI tokens? Okay, fine, I’ll admit it—this one’s got teeth.
Here’s why I’m reluctantly interested:
1. AI is broken right now.
Google, Meta, OpenAI—they’re the mob bosses of data. You’re the product. Your habits, your face, your dumb tweets—all fed into their private AI casinos. Decentralized AI at least pretends to give you a seat at the table.
2. Some projects aren’t total vaporware.
Fetch.ai: Bots that might actually save you time instead of selling your search history.
Ocean Protocol: Lets you pimp your data on your terms (wild concept, I know).
Bittensor: Like Bitcoin for AI models—could be genius, could be a dumpster fire.
Downsides? Obviously.
Most tokens will crash and burn.
Tech’s still clunky as hell.
“Community-driven AI” sounds like herding cats on meth.
But if even one project pulls this off? Game changer. Or at least, less depressing than the current trajectory.
TL;DR: Not saying buy anything. Just saying—watch this space. And maybe pray.
